Sean Kennedy, FCAS, MAAA, CPCU, ARe, AIM, AIS, API – President & CEO

Sean Kennedy

Sean is a graduate of Simpson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics. He started his career at IMT in 1993 in the Research and Development Department. Sean left IMT to pursue his actuarial designations. With his extensive insurance experience, we were pleased to have him rejoin the IMT team in 2005 as Vice President, Research and Development. In April 2012, he was elected to serve as Executive Vice President and in 2014, Sean was named President and Chief Executive Officer.

Marsha Aldridge, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, MBA, MSLD, MAOD – Vice President, Human Resources and Shared Services

Marsha Aldridge

Marsha began her career at IMT Insurance in 2009 overseeing the Human Resources function. Marsha has over 25 years of Human Resources experience and as a life-long learner has actively worked to increase her HR knowledge. Marsha has her MBA, Master of Science in Leadership Development and a Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Marsha currently serves as the Vice President, Human Resources and Shared Services.

Greg Blythe, CPCU, ARe, AIAF – Vice President, Accounting & Treasurer

Greg Blythe

Greg is a graduate of Valley High School. Greg started his career with IMT as an Accountant after graduating from the University of Northern Iowa where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Accounting. Greg advanced to Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Manager, was elected Assistant Vice President by the Board in 2007 and was elected Vice President and Treasurer in 2008.

Brad Buchanan, CPCU, ARe – Vice President, Personal Lines

Brad Buchanan

Brad began his IMT career in 1989 and since that time has demonstrated his abilities in several areas including Accounting, Reinsurance and Marketing. Brad graduated from Valley High School and went on to earn his Masters Degree from the University of Iowa. In 2000 Brad assumed the Director of Personal Lines title and then was elected Assistant Vice President overseeing Personal Lines in 2002, later that year Brad was named Vice President of Personal Lines.

Matt Casey, CPCU, AIS, AINS – Vice President, Marketing & Sales

Matt Casey

Matt began his career in the IMT Claim Department in 1998 after graduating from Iowa State University. He worked in the Claim Department as a Field Claim Representative and Claim Supervisor for 10 years before joining the Marketing Department in 2008 as a Production Manager. Matt was promoted to a Senior Manager of Field Services in 2013, followed by his promotion to Assistant Vice President – Marketing and Sales in 2018. In September 2019, he was promoted to his current role, Vice President, Marketing and Sales.

Mary Clayton, M.S.I.M., CPCU, AINS, AIC, AIS – Vice President, Claims

Mary Clayton

Mary Clayton has been in the claims insurance industry for 16 years, including nine years of management and leadership experience. She began her career at IMT in 2008 after graduating from the University of Iowa earning her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics. Mary obtained her CPCU designation in 2015 and her Master’s degree in Science Insurance Management from Boston University in 2018. Since joining IMT, Mary has progressed her career within the Claims Department holding several positions, including multi-line Phone Adjuster through a Sr. Field Adjuster, moving into a Claims Manager role in 2015 and later promoted to Sr. Claims Manager. In April 2024, Mary begun to her current role as Vice President of Claims.

Aaron Madison – Vice President, Software Services

Aaron Madison

Aaron is a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Finance and Management. Having worked in the finance departments of a few fortune 500 companies on the west coast, in 2008 Aaron made his way back to Iowa and began his career with IMT in their Computer Services division. He began his IMT career as a software developer, was promoted to Manager of Business Operations in 2012, and then to Director of Software Services in 2019. Aaron currently serves as Vice President of Software Services.

Travis McAlpin, M.S.I.M, CPCU, AIT, AIC, API, AINS, AIM, AIS – Vice President, Information Systems

Travis McAlpin

Travis began his career with IMT in November of 1996 as a Programmer, after graduating with his B.S. in Management Information Systems from Wayne State College. Since joining IMT, Travis has held various positions in the IS Department, including Programmer Analyst, Sr. Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, Manager, and Director. In 2011, Travis received his CPCU designation, and in 2014, he graduated from Boston University with his Masters of Science Insurance Management. Travis was promoted to Assistant Vice President - Information Systems in April of 2018. Travis currently serves as Vice President - Information Systems.

Brian Neitzel, FCAS, MAAA, CPCU – Vice President, Research & Development

Brian Neitzel

Brian was elected Vice President, Research and Development at IMT in 2012. He is responsible for actuarial matters and product development. Prior to joining IMT, Brian held various actuarial positions in the insurance industry, where he was responsible for personal lines pricing, corporate actuarial functions and development of predictive modeling capabilities. He is a graduate of Drake University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in actuarial science.

Jody Ochsner, CPCU, APA – Vice President, Commercial Lines

Jody Ochsner

Jody began her career as a Premium Auditor working for an independent insurance auditing company in 1991. In 1995 she transitioned to a Premium Audit Coordinator with Northwestern National. In 1996 she began her career in underwriting. She was a direct line underwriter handling all lines of business including accounts in excess of $100,000 in premium until 2005 when she transitioned to a Casualty Staff Underwriter overseeing program business nationwide. In 2009 she joined IMT as the Commercial Lines Manager focusing on growth and development of the Commercial Lines Department. On September 2021, she was promoted to Director of Commercial Lines. As the Director of Commercial Lines her role expanded to focus on the strategic direction for the Commercial Lines Department, which included the areas of farm liability, loss control, premium audit, and bonds in addition to commercial underwriting. In April 2023, she was named Assistant Vice President and in April 2024 she was approved as the Vice President, Commercial Lines.
