Go Green with IMT - Five Trees Planted in Emmetsburg, IA

In combination with The IMT Group’s Go Green with IMT initiative, Mehan-Holland Central Financial Group and The IMT Group proudly planted five trees at the Palo Alto County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The fairgrounds environment has been enriched thanks to two White Oaks, one Kentucky Coffee, one Elm, and one Honey Locust tree.

The Go Green with IMT program donates $1 to Trees Forever, a nonprofit charitable organization headquartered in Marion, Iowa, for every policyholder who goes paperless with The IMT Group. In return, trees are being planted in one of The IMT Group’s partnering agency’s communities within their six writing states (Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin).

Mehan-Holland Central Financial Group nominated the Palo Alto County Fairgrounds to receive trees. Devona Perkins and Jake Jackson planted trees on behalf of Mehan-Holland Central Financial Group. Also in attendance to help with the tree planting were Palo Alto County Fair Board Members: Clyde Johnson (Vice President), Phillip Schmitt (President), Dan Voigt (Treasurer), Jon Sorenson (Member), and Tracy Licht (Member).  Devona Perkins also serves as the Fair Board Business Manager. The IMT Group was represented by Erin Wonsmos (Marketing Supervisor) and Mitch Engelbarts (Sr. Territory Manager). Jeff Jensen, Trees Forever Field Coordinator in Northwest Iowa, assisted the group in planting the trees. He also thoroughly educated the group on the appropriate way to plant trees.

The IMT Group is proud to partner with our local agencies and give back to the communities we serve!
