Trees Planted as part of Go Green with IMT!

In combination with The IMT Group’s Go Green with IMT initiative, The Wuestenberg Agency and The IMT Group proudly planted three trees at the West Liberty Heritage Foundation’s Heritage Park in West Liberty, Iowa, on Wednesday, June 1, 2016.  The Heritage Park’s environment has been enhanced thanks to the three new trees – a River Birch, Hackberry, and Presidential Gold Ginkgo.

The Go Green with IMT program donates $1 to Trees Forever, a nonprofit charitable organization headquartered in Marion, Iowa, for every policyholder who goes paperless with The IMT Group. In return, trees are being planted in one of The IMT Group’s partnering agency’s communities within their six writing states (Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin). Since October 15, 2015, over 720 insureds made the choice to be paperless.

Bob and Jan Fulwider, along with JJ Fulwider, planted the trees on behalf of the Wuestenberg Agency in West Liberty, Iowa.  Also in attendance to help with the tree planting were Bill Koellner, Gertrude Nath, and Tom Brooke on behalf of the West Liberty Heritage Foundation.  The IMT Group was represented by Sean Kennedy (President and CEO), Rich Nauman (Vice President – Marketing), and Erin Wonsmos (Sr. Marketing Coordinator).  Hannah Howard planted the trees on behalf of Trees Forever.  We are proud to give back to our local communities and excited to continue doing so!
