Property Coverage

The Wadena BOP recognizes the importance of protecting your business’ tangible and intangible assets.  Available property coverages include:

• Buildings
• Limits increased a minimum of 2% annually
• Available on replacement cost, actual cash value or functional replacement cost – the choice is yours!
• Business Personal Property
• Blanket Coverage
• Available for buildings, business personal property or combination of building and business personal property.
• Personal Property of Others included in Business Personal Property limit
• Outdoor Signs
• $1,000 for signs attached to buildings
• Signs not attached to buildings are included in the outdoor property limit of $2,500
• Higher limits may be purchased

Liability Coverage

The increasing number of lawsuits and associated legal fees makes it necessary in today’s world to have the best liability coverage available.  The Wadena BOP provides you with the following coverages:

• $300,000 limit for Bodily Injury, Property Damage, and Personal and Advertising Injury on an occurrence basis.  Higher limits are also available.
• $5,000 for medical expenses for anyone other than an insured who is injured on your premises regardless of fault.
• Defense costs are covered over and above the limits listed in the policy.

Business Income and Extra Expense

In the event that you experience a covered loss which you cannot immediately reopen your business, the Wadena BOP pays for your lost business income and extra expenses incurred for up to 12 months after the loss.

Identity Recovery Coverage (IDR)

If you are a victim of identity theft, IDR protection helps restore your credit history and identity records to pre-theft status.

Wadena BOP Extras:

Equipment Breakdown* - Covers the equipment that keeps your business running.  It also includes coverage for resulting loss of Business Income and Extra Expense to get back in business quickly.

Data Compromise* - Coverage that is designed to help your business investigate a data breach, notify individuals, and provide credit monitoring, case management and other services that help prevent identity theft and fraud following a breach of identifying information.  Legal defense costs and liability coverages are available as an option with this coverage.

Employment Practices Liability Protection* - An important coverage that can help you prevent or defend against employment claims alleging age, gender or race discrimination, sexual harassment, or other wrongful employment acts.
